🐕 CPPSS00060 – Security Canine Skill Set (QLD)
Nationally recognised training for licensed security officers seeking the
Dog Patrol function on a QLD Security Licence.
⚠ Online component must be completed before attending practical training.
📘 Units covered
✔ CPPSEC3112 – Manage training and well-being of dogs for security functions
✔ CPPSEC3113 – Handle dogs for security patrols
Important Enrolment Information
✔ Pre-requisite: CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations must be completed.
✔ Online learning: must be completed prior to face-to-face practical sessions.
✔ Eligibility: QLD Security Licence requirements apply (OFT).
✔ Age: 18+ only.
✔ Bring: 100 points of ID (originals), USI, enclosed footwear.
✔ Good physical fitness and confidence around dogs is essential.
