📘 Description

This Skill Set describes the competencies required to lawfully carry, use, and maintain batons and handcuffs within the Queensland security industry.
You’ll gain the knowledge to apply defensive tactics safely, understand use-of-force guidelines, and perform restraint procedures while protecting yourself and others in operational situations.

📘 Prerequisite Training

Participants must have completed CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations or hold a current QLD Security Licence.
Sufficient English reading and communication skills are required to complete this course.

🎓 Course Outcomes

Learn to safely and effectively carry and use batons and handcuffs.
Gain a clear understanding of the Queensland Weapons Act and security regulations.
